(More customer reviews)This is a great idea with a chic, modern look. I like that you can flip the round red pieces around to give you two sizes of trivet. Kuhn Rikon always makes solid, well built products, so I expect this to last a life time. The magnets are fairly strong and have stuck well to my pots/pans. It is nice to have the trivet move with your item. However, you much remember to remove it if sticking your baking sheet back in the oven! ;)
The down side is I discovered that many of my items are not magnetic. If you don't have very many magnet items, the product is probably not worth it, as it just becomes another trivet. I would test your pots/pans/sheets with a magnet prior to buying to make sure it will be useful.
Also, because it sits high off of your table (about an inch) if you are using the trivet with a large item such as a baking sheet, it is much nicer to have 2 trivets underneath so the baking sheet is stabilized.
All in all, I'm glad to have the product.
