(More customer reviews)We ate steamed fish on a visit and my son was determined to be able to do it at his own home, and who am I to discourage the desire to eat steamed fish?
So we looked at all sorts of places and found a huge range in price. This was a medium price and size (some are just enormous) It's a little thinner that I expected, feels lighter and a bit flimsier than my mothers. But it certainly does the trick. The fish fit in easily and was delicious. We were careful with the measurements, this fits easily into my oven but some would have been too big. I wanted something that could cook on top and go inside the oven. This does both. I've also steamed vegetables in it (cauliflower and of course asparagus - fits perfectly!) and that worked well too. So overall I rate this a good buy, I don't know if it will last as long as the thicker more expensive ones, but I don't know how often we will use it either, this seems a good enough compromise.
