(More customer reviews)My mother in law advised me that all she wanted for christmas was the sealing ring for her presto pressure cooker. My first thought was that I would get the best pressure cooker that money could buy....nope my mother in law loved her current pressure cooker and did not belive a new model would be better than her current one.
Where was i going to get a replacement part? I checked amazon and to my disbelief they had a replacement part. I ordered it and with my Amazon Prime it was here in one day instead of two. The part was easy to put on. It is a Presto part and not aftermarket so it fit perfectly. It seems to be the exact same quality as the seal that we were replacing and after one use the pressure cooker is working just fine.

The sealing ring fits around the inside rim of the cover and forms a pressure-tight seal between the cover and the body of the pressure cooker during cooking. When installing a sealing ring, work it into the cover in four small sections, for example, top, bottom , left and right. Work it into the groove a small section at a time until it is fully in place. Place the cover on the cooker body. Put one hand on the top center of the cover and push down firmly. Open and close the cover several times.
