There should be cooking suggestions for this product. It said it could cook frenchfries. I tried and it never cooked them. I restarted the microwave and it melted the bootom of the product on the microwave dish. That was probably my fault but they should at least give suggestion of how to use the product for a satisfactory result.

On top of that, It sprays watery goo everywhere through the vent in the cover. Even after following the directions to a T (and making some adjustments of my own to try to fix the issue), I still end up with a sticky counter. I ended up just going back to a regular pot again. Definitely a waste of money.

(More customer reviews)We love beer can chicken but when I learned the linings in beer cans contain bisphenol a that can leach into our food I was so happy to find this safer alternative. It's broader base makes the chicken more stable on the grill and it cleans up in the dishwasher. I looked at some of the metal versions but most come in two pieces where the column is welded or tacked to the base and several people made comments about some of them leaking over time. Not so with this ceramic version. I'm ordering a second one for when everyone comes for dinner.

Winware Stainless Steamer/Pasta Cookers Review

(More customer reviews)We have 2- 20 quart and 1- 12 quart STAINLESS STEEL Pasta Pots that we purchased in Jan 2011. They work great, reduce work and allow us to reuse the water to boil additional pasta. We used the 20 qt. in at least 8 events during January feeding at least 125 men for each event and found them to be a huge time saver. I had not read the previous reviews prior to buying these, however, I cannot think that somehow the wrong insert was sent. Perhaps they received aluminum or undersized. I do agree that it takes longer to boil water but once boiled it takes less time to cook more pasta. For home use I want to purchase the 8 qt. for smaller gatherings. Winware is part of Wincous.com. They make great stuff. Also Thunder Group (exactly like winware / winco) is the same. Available cheaper from Webstaurant store or Winco from TigerChef.com for much less. For my money the Winco product lines are a great asset to our catering company.

Waring Pro ICT100 Professional Induction Cooktop Review

(More customer reviews)If only one could get this type of cooking in a stove at a reasonable price! At the present time, since there is very little demand for magnetic induction cooking, full stovetops are very expensive. However, one can purchase a single burner unit like this one from Waring Pro, and discover how wonderful induction cooking is!
This induction cooktop is super energy efficient. All you heat is the pan. Right next to it the surface is totally cool. Indeed, the only heat on the cooktop comes from the pan itself. After use, the fan will run for a minute or so to make sure the surface is temperate to the touch. Moreover, the cooktop will will not function if it does not sense a pan/pot on the surface (or the right kind of pan), and will shut off if the pot gets to hot.
When I first put my stainless steel pasta pot on it nothing happened. I thought something was wrong. But that pot bottom was not magnetic, and thus would not work with magnetic induction. You MUST have the right kind of cookware (it should say induction on the storebox - we use Circulon Infinite Infinite Circulon 10-Piece Set- or simply test it with a magnet in the store. Aluminum, copper, etc. will not work. Cast iron works fine, but the weight of cast iron could scratch the surface if you are not careful.
I find that whatever you cook heats really fast, faster than our electric range because there is no warmup; heat is instantaneous. Cooldown almost so. No waste of energy. Some fan noise, not objectionable, and some slight higher frequency noise when it is heating. Timer can be handy if you are not sure when you might get back.
We are really pleased with this. We use it on our kitchen island where you can cook with it, or keep something warm in total safety because the sides of the cooktop are cool to the touch. You would need some counter space to use it, and we store it easily by leaning it up against the wall under the counter so it is always ready for use. It cleans up super easy since it never gets hot!
This unit could also be used camping with an inverter, during a power outage using an inverter and a car battery, or in the backyard to heat the beans when you are cooking burgers. Many uses are possible as long as you can supply 1400 watts of power from your inverter.
There are some other models available from other manufacturers right here on Amazon, but I do not think you could go wrong with this unit by Waring. It is beautifully made - a fine asset to your kitchen. It would also be great for summer cooking as less heat would be added to your kitchen. Highly recommended!

Wolfgang Puck Stainless Steel Dessert Maker Insert Review

(More customer reviews)I do not own the Wolfgang Puck electric pressure cooker, but I bought this insert set because it is just the right size for my stove-top pressure cookers, which I use frequently. Often, it is necessary to use an insert, for cooking things that might scorch on direct heat, or to keep foods separated during cooking. I also make a lot of desserts in the pressure cooker. This set has it all. The deep and shallow pans are each perfect sizes. What they call the "storage rack" is ideal for lifting these pans in and out of the cooker. It can be used to lift my other insert pans in and out too. Before, I was using aluminum foil as a lifter, but I didn't like that this wasted foil, and I always had a little fear that the foil might not be strong enough. The rack is ideal also for lifting whole roasts or chicken out of the pressure cooker, and can also serve the same purpose in an oven roasting pan. As time goes by, I may discover even more uses. If you are a pressure cooker enthusiast, this set is a must have! Five stars are not nearly enough.
It is beautiful stainless steel, so no concerns about it rusting, or reacting with any foods. Cleanup is so simple. I just pop them into the dishwasher. Then, store them directly into one of my pressure cookers to await the next use.
Another company makes a silicon dessert insert set, but those things are floppy, difficult to manage, and do not transfer heat as efficiently. (some people think they develop an odd odor after a while).
By the way, if you are intending to use this in pressure cookers other than the one it is designed for, first determine if it will fit. Some pressure cookers may not be deep enough or wide enough diameter to accomodate this insert. So be sure to measure your cooker's diameter and depth. Some cookers may accomodate the pans, but not the rack. If so, it's still worth purchasing the set. Stacking pans such as these are not easy to find.
UPDATE: I have used this set many times now, and it has never disappointed.

(More customer reviews)Lost the silcone gasket that fits into the lid of unit. It is like a sippy cup insert that must be removed & cleaned each use. This part is not available separately from the lid (just got off the phone with the manufacturer). So, if you loose this gasket, which I did, you must purchase the whole lid to get said gasket. Price for lid? $38.50 plus shipping. If you don't use gasket the most horrible smell emits from your cooker and all the labels & plates peel off. Food still cooks nicely, just acompanied by wretched smell.
Other than that, unit performs very nicely. I personally will not puchase from Wolfgang Puck again.

Latter I decided I wanted another cooker and just came upon this. It seemed to cheap. I ordered it from Amazon. This thing is a DEAL. We usually cook between 4-6 cups of rice at a time. It makes perfect rice, if you use the cup at 180cc..
We have 5 kids and been using this 2-4 times a month for last two years.
I like it most of all as it has limited options and cooks only rice.

Deni 10400 Quick-n-Easy 10-4-Quart Convection Oven Review

(More customer reviews)Hello all, I have had my Deni oven for about 5 years now and it still works fine ! I have had at least 5 Jetstream Ovens burn out on me over the last 15 years or so,none lasting much over a year ! But I tell you no lie the Jetstream Ovens puts the Deni and the FlavorWave to shame when it comes to cooking things like Air Fried Chicken,pizza and hot dogs ! I did not have to turn my chicken over when I used the Jetstream Ovens because of the high air output of the Jetstream Ovens"4000 RPM fan speed"! But I do have to turn the chicken over when it comes to the low air output of the Deni and FlavorWave ovens!
The Deni and FlavorWave are far more durable then the Jetstream Ovens,but when it comes to cooking,they just can't compete,their air output is way too low !!! The FlavorWave cooks far better then the Deni,on a scale of 1 to ten...10 being the highest I would give the FlavorWave maybe a high 7 to a low 8,and I would give the Deni a five or low 6,but the JetStream Ovens I would give a high 9 or 10 ! I hate the fact that the Jetstream Ovens don't last long,and I wish I could find a durable low priced convection oven with the same high 4000 RPM fan speed of the Jetstream Ovens,but after looking for many years I have had no luck what so ever !
I give the Deni a 4 out of 5 over all rating because I love how durable and reliable it is ! The Deni seems to be the most durable out of the 3 ovens! But as far as cooking goes,it needs a far more powerful fan in it! When I cook pizza in the Deni the top comes out fine but the bottom comes out soft and half uncooked! I have to overcook the top in order to cook the bottom the way I like it! The FlavorWave did a better job with the pizza! On a scale of 1 to ten I would give the Deni a 4 on pizza,the FlavorWave would get a 7 or 8 and the Jetstream would get a 9 or 10! I must warn you that the Jetstream can blow any light weight toppings on the pizza around if you don't put a rack right above the pizza to hold and keep the toppings in place. But to me that's a small price to pay. As far as air fried chicken goes that is where the JetStream Oven blows the Deni and the FlavorWave completely away !
I would rate the Deni a 4, the FlavorWave a 7 and the Jetstream oven a 10 + when it comes to Air Fried Chicken . The FlavorWave gets a 7 because it does a good job on the chicken, its nice and juicy on the inside and the skin is done fairly well . Now when it comes to the Jetstream..not only is the chicken nice and juicy, but the skin is cooked to Perfection!!!! It comes out better then real fried chicken skin,but without all the grease ! I am hooked on the Jetstream oven mostly because of how great of a job it does on cooking Air Fried Chicken !!!
Let me say it again, I hate the durability or lack of durability of the Jetstream ovens, and I and many others wish Nesco would make their ovens to last !
Nesco won't even offer an extended warranty on their Jetstream ovens,so what does that tell you about the quality or lack of durability of the Jetstream ovens ? But it still looks like I have to buy another Jetstream oven if I want the best Air Fried Chicken in town ! I still wish someone would make a high air output convection oven that is durable,so that I could tell Nesco where to go with their great cooking,low durability,falling apart,and cracking into many pieces Jetstream ovens !!!!!!!
As far as the Deni oven goes,I can say it is very very durable,no melting parts,no cracking,no falling apart ! On the other hand,it is only so so when it comes to cooking with its weak low speed fan !

(More customer reviews)This looks like a nice little pressure cooker although smaller than expected, a little less than 4 qt. max on the larger pan, as marked on the insides of the pan.
For something that gets as hot and dangerous as a pressure one would think that in the US they would include an instruction booklet in ENGLISH rather than the nice glossy one in only Spanish, or is that Italian.
If you don't speak Spanish I would recommend you keep looking as a pressure cooker can be a very hazardous thing without fully understanding it.
I think this company is not yet ready for the US market... hopefully they will get it.

We always start with putting virgin olive oil in soup/ceral bowl. Add whatever spices you like. Then roll potato in mixture. Potato comes out very crisp. Somewhat like Red Lobster's. I suggest you start with sea salt, pepper, crushed oregano, garlic salt, onion salt, chives, etc. We use whatever we have. We're never disappointed! We have 2 cookers and everyone wants to know where we got them.

It boils water quickly , the water level is easy to see and has the auto-shut off feature. I have used it reliably to boil water for tea, oatmeal etc. The water is quite hot, so use caution when pouring it out. The lid , can sometimes be hard to close & open.
